Finished with my practice goblins, I was ready to take on something new and awesome.

I saw this guy and had to paint him.

One cute Cthulhu — The cutest of the great old ones.

Bonesylvanians: Lou from Reaper. Like the goblins, he turned shiny from the varnish. He’s a sea creature so I guess it makes sense. Lots of dust on him since he’s slightly sticky. Not a lot of fancy stuff going on here, but I did have a go at some blending for the wings on the back.

Cthulhu from behind, his tiny wings a gradient of purple-to-black. — One of the wings actually looks pretty good!

Hell yeah, Cthulhu!
